2 - sell GTX 480 which will also help you regain some of the money you lost on the cooler

got an old discontinued "semi modular" psu from zzf for $35 (ef year!) and crammed one of my 4850s inside of the mighty box

have to take the psu/vid card out anytime i want to actually mess with the motherboard now. so much for having a mobo tray >:(
at least it's faster/runs cooler than the old 8800GT

so things i've learned:
1. Always sand your primer. only reason i didnt was because i didnt have sand paper and didn't feel like going out to get any. But there are so many imperfections you never see in your case until it's sanded out smooth.

2. Like when painting anything..nothing will ever fit back together the exact same way.. it's a pain in the ass to get the case panel on and off now, but im sure that'll ease it up when i scrape some paint off.

actually that's about it..it was a really easy process and i'm glad i did it, just because i got to see how filthy my case was in all the hidden spots, so i got to clean that all out. I also mounted my reservoir and radiator more securely now so im happy about that, and everything just looks better. yeah. Now all i need is some UV reactive lights to make my cooling system glow and it'll look like hotness.
